The Independence Day Marathon

Once again the year turns full circle and July 4th is upon us once more!!

To celebrate, Slave radio again brings you a marathon show with 24 hours of live shows to help you party through the day!

Mr Goodtime will be extending his regular Thursday night request show to start everything off at midnight, before the Softcore Whore takes over at 5am with a topical 2fer show. This will be followed at 10am by Hairy Trev until 3pm when Paradise Girl and Mel will be continuing the live shows into the evening. Finally, the Hardcore Troubadour picks up the reins at 8pm to see out the last 4 hours of the day!

Farewell to the Smooth Operator

It is regretable that this weekend, Slave Radio will be bidding a fond farewell to Mr. C who will be hanging up his microphone for a while as he goes through the torment of moving home.

Eric has been entertaining and relaxing us with the best in R&B and the blues every Saturday night, with a show that has always encouraged the listener to take it easy! He first picked up the mic just before the devastation of Hurricane Sandy in the North Eastern States, and in the subsequent upheaval and problems, became instrumental in covering the stream and shows from other DJ's who were unable to broadcast.

It was this effort and dedication which brought the rest of the team together more as a single family and allowed Slave Radio to further develop. Together with his soft voice and easy listening playlist, Eric brought a new style to the station.

All of the staff and fellow DJ's at Slave Radio would like to thank Eric for his hard work and effort during his time on air, and to wish him the very best of luck for the future and his relocation.

He will of course, be made welcome to return when he is settled!

Thursday 12th June

Mr. Goodtime is taking a well earned night off on Thursday, but you can still tune in as always, midnight UK time/7pm Eastern time when the Hardcore Troubadour will be spinning the sounds.

Listen out for all the regular fun and frolics with Philly the Luvvable and don't forget to contact him with your requests!

Hairy Trev's 70's/Disco Inferno

Saturday 14th June

The Smooth operator is going to be relaxing even more and putting his feet up for the evening instead of spinning the blues!

In his absence, why not get on your best party outfit, and spend the night with Hairy Trev's 70's/Disco Inferno Special!

The fun all starts at 10pm UK/5pm Eastern time with the best in lively pop, dance and happy sounds from the seventies classics and disco age! 

R&B with MrC Show

This Saturday May 24th  MrC the Smooth Operator will be away for a well earned break.

In his absence the Hardcore Troubadour will be spinning the tunes to help you all wind down after a hard week and relax with classic R&B, Jazz and Blues music.

Tune in, chill out and relax as always to hear this great show at 5pm Eastern  / 10 pm UK.

Name It If You Can

The popular Slave Radio game of "Name it f you can" is going to be taking a break for a bit, while we think up some new themes and soundbites.

The organisers and presenters would like to thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation and we hope the game will return in due course.

In the meantime, the boffins are working on ideas for a new game, hopefully to be starting at the end of the summer. Watch this space for further news.
